Sree Advice has become one of our most popular TINY segments since it debuted last year. This morning’s installment was particularly helpful in gaging viewer reaction.
Sree introduced us to a new search engine called searchme.com that’s offering 5,000 new accounts. We offered access to it through WNBC.com. Reaction was so swift, the fledgling site crashed shortly after the segment aired. Sree reports the segment far exceeded the number of on-line hits we average per day in under 30-minutes. Happily, Searchme was able to quickly get back on its feet.
Clearly we hit the mark with this topic and hope to continue to do so in the future. In this day and age, real-time feedback like today’s is the best measure of a news broadcast’s success.
